Garland is well-qualified on the merits, has impeccable credentials, and is no ideologue. If they say "no" to even meeting with or considering this nominee, it will loom as a huge campaign issue for the fall election with implications in the presidential race as well. Given that the GOP is defending 24 seats to Democrats' 10... Well, please proceed, Mitch.

I hope they enjoy displaying more of their hypocrisy to the public. It will be fun to watch them wiggle out of the trap he put them in. Obama is a champion of chess and the Repubs are too stupid to know how to play the game. Love seeing this.

Even if he lives as long as Notorious R.B.G., we only get one generation out of him, not two like they did with Roberts.
