Meghan McCain used her first column as an online contributor for Cosmopolitan to slam her dad’s vocal critic Donald Trump, saying the GOP favorite “hijacked my party and turned it into something dark that I do not recognize.”

The daughter of Sen. John McCain added: “I have woken up each morning dreading the .?.?. remarks [Trump] would make .?.?. My party is being destroyed in front of my very eyes, and I feel powerless to stop it.”

Trump said John McCain was “not a war hero.”

This from the woman whose dad unleashed Caribou Barbie on the body politic.
