Jon Ritzheimer, accused of being one of the first to occupy the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in January, will be able to return to Arizona pending trial, under GPS monitoring, a curfew, and home detention, a judge ordered Thursday.
U.S. District Court Judge Robert E. Jones said he was worried about Ritzheimer's mental state, noting reports that he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder from two tours in Iraq during his 11 years of U.S. Marine Corps service.
