(17,119 posts)and vice versa; a few malcontents will put EVERYONE on ignore; and there'll probably be one or two who put THEMSELVES on ignore.
Primary season is always a lot of fun. I think this one is a little more fun than usual, though.

(37,748 posts)It's a great tool. "I was once told by an idiot "you're burying your head in the sand by using the Ignore feature." But I think that begs the question: why would I want to listen to, or even hear opinion without relevance, premise without support, or the hysterics of the passionate believer calling me an apostate for siding with candidate A over B?
Sometimes, less is more-- and Ignore clearly illustrates that.

(17,506 posts)I just don't have time to beat my head against a wall arguing with someone, trying to change their mind on a message board while they try to change mine.
To the point upthread about burying one's head in the sand, once the main point has been heard both ways, to argue about it is not for me.
I'm always open to new information but just do not have time to engage in those long back and forth fights. Plus I get upset.
Less is more sometimes, indeed!
