We are all Brussels today.
Not to make light of a horrifying situation, but when have we all been Baghdad? February 29, twin bombs outside of Baghdad killed at least 73, injuring hundreds; at a funeral another 38 died with many injured. ISIS has been killing a lot of folks in Iraq and Syria, or what's left of those countries.
And now ISIS (really al qaeda 3.0) has continued it's dirty work in Brussels. We and the world take little notice of the bombings that have been rampant since the US invaded Iraq.
So let's give credit where credit is due: the architects of the invasion - primarily Cheney and Rumsfeld. Their hubris, incompetence, and madness are why bombs are now exploding in Brussels and Paris. And don't forget, they've never stopped in Iraq.
I'm expecting the fawning corporate media to connect the dots in 3-2-1 Never!
What did the people of Baghdad or Brussels ever do to us?
