Giuliani: "Brussels was Obama's Pearl Harbour. But Bush took 9/11 seriously."

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/03/rudy-giuliani-obama-should-have-cut-cuba-trip-short-because-brussels-was-his-pearl-harbor/

“It’s outrageous to the President of the United States is not in the situation room right now, planning to destroy ISIS,” Giuliani declared during an interview on Fox News.

...

Although Cavuto pointed out that Brussels was not on American soil, Giuliani insisted that it did not matter.

He's right! Obama should interrupt his historic diplomatic mission and start bombing ISIS already!!!

------

“Bush took 9/11 really seriously. He hit them back like hell, right?” the former GOP presidential hopeful continued. “And we didn’t get a terror incident from then on."

Okaaaaaay... Who wants to break his little heart and get him a history-book?

I will never forget that asshole doing a TV interview when in the background you could see people falling to their deaths in the aftermath of the 9-11 attacks. Fuck that fucking fuck.

Let's not forget his "we were told they were going to pull the building" in regards to building 7.

Not to mention his foolish move to move the entire security apparatus to building 7, from a much safer area of NYC.
Fuck that fucking fuck.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brussels,_Illinois

Brussels is a village in Calhoun County, Illinois, United States. The population was 141 at the 2010 census, that figure representing no change from its 2000 population.

However, that Brussels has neither an airport nor a metro.

If anything bad happens ever anywhere- especially when it involves terrorism-Obama's to blame somehow- or has to stop everything he's doing and *do something* about it.

I wish that I were being sarcastic about this but this is pretty much what it boils down to for Republicans and other assorted wingnuts.

...why were the firemen still using the same hand radios from the 93 bombing? The ones that didn't work inside the towers way back then, and didn't get any better by 2001.

Why did you locate your emergency command center right next to a know terrorist target? And how many trysts did you have with your then-not wife there? Or does one question answer the other?

it's roughly 20 to 25 a day -- the same order of magnitude as the Brussels attack, day after day after day. Terrorist attacks in the US are limited in number, and currently the majority involve US rightwing extremists

I expect the President has offered Brussels whatever they might want by way of US cooperation. Meanwhile, we continue to lose lives here from gun violence and rightwing wackos
