WTH is wrong with Brian Williams?

I know there is division here about MSNBC in general, but Williams is so extraneous, anchoring there. His comments are dim-witted and off topic. He adds nothing to the conversation. Why is he still working there, when no longer have Melissa Harris-Perry, Ed Schultz, and other more talented, informed journalists?

They get paid to lie to you. They are good at it. That is why they get paid so much.

and integrity. I also believe he is deficient in intellect as well. There are reasons why he fabricated stories and those reasons did not go away just because he was caught and suspended. He was stupid enough to think he could get away with it and unethical enough to actually do it. He's still the same guy.

What I am now puzzled at is how Rachel and Nicole WALLACE and even ROBINSON yuk it up at everything he says. TODD appears to be trying hard to resist his "charm".

him. And, you can tell you are right on the money - because you can see all the others defer to him. So, despite his exaggerated truths that got him suspended - the NBC PTB still respect him.

On the other hand, he is just too stiff and controlled for cable news IMHO. He is so afraid he will be criticized again, he adds disclaimers in excess to everything he says. Like, "I may be wrong, so don't take this as the truth, but I believe it is Monday."

Think he would be much better suited to regular network anchor. He stiffles the better minds on MSNBC. Bet 75% of the public have no idea he was ever canned in the first place. Bet my mom and dad don't

want to buy out his contract. BW wants or needs the paycheck, so he performs his TV assignments. It is painful for him, as he looks around at his co-workers and wonders what they are thinking about him. And, do the people in the TV audience see him without clothes, naked, with a tiny package?

His exaggerations didn't bother me a great deal. If I was riding in a jeep in a country at war and everyone was shooting at each other, I would think a few misfacts could easily occur. Knowing myself, my recounted adventures after would rival Rambo.

I would have been much happier if NBC had not sold him down the river, and brought him back to face humiliation. Fox would never do that to OReilly who hasn't spoken an honest word in years.
