how badly they are permanently damaging their namesake by endorsing Trump.

I used to fully respect and admire Clint Eastwood as a filmmaker..

Today, that's shot to hell.

I can't let his position on Trump affect my opinion of Grand Torino, but when it comes to politics, he's a fool. Just like Carson may have been a good doctor, but when it comes to politics......

Trump on the other hand would have been better off investing his inheritance in an index fund and Warren Buffet would have turned his inheritance into 198 billion http://www.inquisitr.com/2913720/donald-trump-index-fund-inheritance-elizabeth-warren-warren-buffett/. So he is a shitty businessman and I seriously doubt he will in the general. So he sucks at both.

I've seen references to this meeting, but haven't seen the WaPo's account.
I have a huge grain of salt, given their unvarnished bias as seen so far during this Fellini-esque campaign season.

But that was before the highly bizarre stunt he pulled before the 2012 election (empty chair, etc.)

The whole thing was weird but it told me where his loyalty lies
