The unions who were exempted by Walker's crew from the austerity put upon other public sector unions were predominately white and male. Do you need more information or can you connect the dots on your own?

You act as if it's completely unheard of for people to vote against their own self interest. When I worked at Kroger there were plenty of conservative union members. For some people the Union was just a group who took $10 of their beer money every month :-P Unions aren't immune to having disloyal, dishonest, selfish, or just plain stupid people. There's probably a decent chunk of people in a union simply because it's required who will vote only for Republicans for a variety of nonsensical reasons, weather they're global warming deniers, creationists, greedy corporate bastards, etc.

I happen to know someone like that.

Voted for GWB once out of two.

Absolutely gaga over Obama.

Turns around and votes for Mark Kirk for Obama's Senate seat because the Dem. candidate is "mobbed up"
