1. Barrett didn't need Obama, he needed an act of God or 30 million dollars.

4. Obama doesn't vote. There is a problem with the voters in Wisconsin.

If the people of Wisconsin were sincere for labor as I felt they were...Barrett needed no help from anyone. He would have won. But there are rotten people in Wisconsin who fucked labor in the ass and their fellow Wisconsinite. Don't turn this into an Obama should have done something moment. Because this was so not about Bill Clinton or Obama. This was about the people and this is what it seems the majority of the people wanted.

So go find somewhere else to whine. No matter which way any issue goes, there are always those republicon who will look for a way to blame Obama. Why is that?

no matter how much the right wants to make it so. This is about Citizens United and buying elections. This election was bought and paid for by the "Corporation are People too".

Barrett said he didn't need him ... the unions said they didn't need him ... I'm certain that the campaigns discussed it, and it was determined that he not be there ...

But DUers blame him? Really?

But I guess we NEED someone to blame for our disappointment.

16. I don't know-- I've been critical of Obama previously for not showing up

to support Barret on the ground, but I'm beginning to see the other side here. Obama's presence would've made it all about Obama-- both during the campaign and especially, after the election. If Obama had been on the ground there and Barret still lost, Walker would now be a hero-- the David who slew the giant.

we should have started early and saw what happened. How could they refuse such support? I don't think the President should be the only target, but this meant a lot to the unions.

They should've poured resources into it, and instead showed only a token effort at the very last minute. I haven't changed my mind about that one at all, but as for Obama himself actually getting involved... I'm not so sure anymore.

He knew just like most people that walker was going to win... If he had campaigned hard for Barrett and walker still won (which he would have) then the pugs could have laid it on his shoulders all the way to the bank.

I know it sucks but Obama could have never walked in there and waved some wand that would have changed things.

He knows that a storm is comming.

Someone brought it up on the news or here).

I think if someone wasn't interested or motivated enough to vote, no visit from ANYBODY would suddenly make them care enough.

How would a visit from Obama have
made any difference?
