They don't trust "the government" yet...

We all know the type. Tea party rightwingers who served and/or are retired from the military.
They go on and on about how they don't trust the *"government" (I think they mean the Federal Branch?) yet many draw their living from the *"government".
Their beliefs are that the "government" can't do anything right and needs to be done away with on many levels like the HUD, FDA, EPA, DOE, etc...
We all have relatives or know some people like this.

Here's the kicker...they are willing to believe their government when it defines the enemy for them and tells them to kill another person. They have no problem with taking a life on the word of the government.

When these fools talk bad about our government (in the ridiculous way they do) maybe we should remind them of this?

* I used quotations because they are never specific as to which government - Local, County, State or Federal.

And/or are benefiting from it.

I admit I'm no different- when I see gov't forces killing someone I have a problem with it. It's all in what we each see is right and wrong with the world.
