Tweety just helped Trump

By talking over him during the abortion issue. My fiancees' family is all Trump supporters, and the one thing they HATE, is being talked over like how Tweety did to Trump tonight. Even I was getting mad at Tweety and yelling at the TV to STFU and let Trump finish. Also, I believe Trump's stance on punishing people for having abortions will be a big win with the Evangelicals, who have been a big source of votes for Cruz. Don't be surprised if Trump's poll numbers go up.

Thanks a lot Tweety!

1. A slight correction. Trump specifically said punishment for women, not people.

Of course, he has walked that back already, so his rabid, anti choice supporters might not like that. You're probably right about his poll numbers, though. It seems that he can't say anything too bizzare for them.

the piece I saw on CNN last night about how some of donnie's favorite words are "excuse me". He interrupts people all the time - they probably don't mind that at all. Actually, the forced birth crew is very angry at donnie right now. You're NEVER supposed to talk about punishing the women - only the doctors because apparently wanting control over our lives makes us "victims". Donnie did the impossible yesterday - united the pro choice AND the forced birth people.

I can't watch his show. It's just a display of rudeness. The way he talks over people, he should be on Fox.

4. The Donald only said what the Republicans all really want ---to punish the women who have abortions

They have (I don't remember a specific person) been saying this off and on. Now the conservatives came out yesterday saying Trump doesn't understand the conservative view "we only want to stop the doctors and providers of abortions" and provide help for the women to understand what they are doing is really murder. How kind and compassionate is that. By the way to help you we want ultrasounds and probes to see how far along you are and should you have a miscarriage we only want to help you by investigating if you did this to yourself to abort a fetus. How kind, how compassionate , how understanding we Republicans are. Poor Trump, he just blurted out the truth because he doesn't know how conservatives speak.

5. Trump almost makes sense, in a consistent, twisted sort of way ...

IF abortions are illegal, then all participants should face punishment, as perpetrators and accessories.

The simple answer: keep them legal.

The laws generally affect only the lower-income women. Almost anyone with means can find an excuse to travel, and if that destination offers abortion services, oh well.

The dirty little secret among the Christian right is that ever since they started preaching abstinence, there has been a huge rise in abortions in the Bible Belt among young girls. Yes, they sit in their church pews with halos on their heads...but when their daughters get pregnant...more important than "Gods will" is that their neighbors don't find out!

You can preach abstinence and not allow birth control...but you can't stop teenagers from having sex!
