The german late-night-show "extra 3" has decided to move on... after throwing a few last punches at Erdogan.


"If you shoot and somebody shouts 'ouch', then you have hit something." And Erdogan calling in the german ambassador was a pretty loud 'Ouch'.


"We want to de-escalate the situation. We don't want to pour more oil into the fire... because Erdogan has way more crude oil." (a reference to the neverending rumors that Erdogan's son is involved in ISIS' oil-smuggle)


"If you don't want to hear criticism, talk to the Chancellor."


And because of all the free publicity, "extra 3" promoted Erdogan to "Employee of the Month".


The host offered Erdogan a deal:
"For every joke a turkish comedian is allowed to make, we will take back one of our jokes."


The show ended with the words:
"By demand of the turkish President, I'm obliged to issue the following corrections: Everything was correct."
