What am I missing here? (Trump immigration plan)

OK so he is going to round up 12 million Mexicans and send them back to Mexico. Then he is going to build a wall to keep them from getting back in. He is going to pay for it by taking the remittances (money Mexicans wire to their families in Mexico) from people who have been deported and no longer sending money from the US to Mexico?

2. Right-wing math.

From "supply-side" on, it's never had to add up. They don't care.

4. "Trickle down" is another great right wing plan

How is that working out?

6. It's actually working fine...

It is, after all, a scheme designed to funnel wealth upward to the 1%. If you consider the actual intent, you realize it's been a rousing success.

3. Do you expect logic from Trump?

As likely as compassion.

5. You're missing inequality.

The plan isn't supposed to work, and it doesn't have to be logically consistent because the voters Trump is trying to win over do not understand logic.

What it does do is treat foreign-born non-whites inequitably. The plan pretends to further monetize these already exploited humans. Right-wingers support inequality when it works in their favor.

The plan plays upon the fears of ignorant white males--their loss of power and influence, the fear that they may someday be treated in the same way that only they treat others.

They are unaware of the hypocrisy. They don't even know the meaning of that word. They live in small, frightening worlds where the unknown is dangerous and where tolerance means loss of control.

They are motivated by irrational fear and racism, so there is no need to be rational or fair--in fact, those are weaknesses to be avoided.

7. Well if it is to whip up the unthinking into voting for

Trump and nothing else, ok. But the fact that more has not been made of the fact that Trumps plan calls for deporting the very people he would need to remain in the country to pay for his wall
