Am I disappointed? Yes I am. I meany why bother signing a recall petition and then not vote the guy out of office. But we did win the one senate seat which means the GOP does not have full control of Wisconsin. We can hold our ground until 2014.
The GOP will try to say this has an impact on the general election. If it does then why was the exit poll at double digit difference between Obama and Romney (Favoring Obama). This election is done and it means NOTHING come this november.
I'm ready to get to work this summer and fall to help re-elect Obama and get more democrats elected to other offices. Who is with me?

(46,080 posts)I'm up in North Jersey. Bill Pascrell, Jr. won the democratic primary for the Congressional Ninth District after a blistering campaign which included his opponent going negative on television and radio. A 61-49 breakdown. And his opponent was the one favored to win by demographics.
How did we do it? We organized. We did phonebanks. We rang doorbells. We rallied. We put up signs. We countered every attack on our candidate. We were persistent. We had faith.
If all of us did this for our representative, senator, and president, we'll be far ahead of any amount of money that the Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelstein "donate". Like Thom Hartmann says, "Democracy starts with you when you show up. Tag! You're 'It'!"
