I think like half the world saw it. Even my brother who would rather have his teeth pulled than go to the movies, saw it. Do we really need a spoiler alert?

Even if they haven't seen it yet, who could miss the chatter on the interwebs?

If someone missed it in the cinemas, they might not have seen it yet.

I had seen a hint or two that he was killed off, but didn't know for sure. It was quite possible to miss it on the net, if you thought "I won't go into discussions about it because I haven't seen it yet". Am I a 'fan'? Well, before the awful "episode 1" I was. After that, I didn't care, and only saw "2" and "3" when someone else had got the DVD and they suggested watching it, or when broadcast on TV.

I am an original Star Trek person.

But if the OP is saying Han died, let me remind you of the long traditional of Sf characters supposedly dead actually being alive or returning to life.

Yeah, I know, but Harrison Ford has been lobbying for Han to be killed off since 1980.
