Meteor Shower Peaks Tonight

Tonight thru early morning if the skys are clear in your area you might want to step outside for a nice meteor shower. "The Eta Aquarids meteor shower will peak on May 5-7 in 2016. A new Moon on May 6 will create favorable conditions for observers to see the shower. Astronomers suggest watching the shower just before dawn."

It offers an online view, not the same but it's something, especially if you have your internet run through a large screen TV for your monitor.

First one since 2006, next one will be November 2019, then you will have to wait until 2032.

Starts around 7:10 AM EDT, finishes around 2:40 PM EDT.
