Another case of human stupidity/arrogance, leading to an animal's death you may have forgotten about

June 18, 2014. Salt Lake City. The police responded to a call of a "missing child" and apparently took that as a liscense to disregard the 4th Amendment and just randomly barge into citizens' backyard. I use the quotations only because there never was a missing child: the 3 year old was in fact sleeping in his parents' house all along. Real attentive parents there. Sean Kendall was not home when this non-emergency was taking place, but the hysterical police barged into his backyard and shot dead his Weimaraner. Surprisingly, the dog barked when a stranger barged into his backyard. There was the usual excuse making from the police, ("I feared for my life"--from a Weimaraner?), and a whitewashed internal affairs investigation that shockingly cleared the police completely.

In this video you see Sean Kendall confront the police, who don't apologize and are completely indifferent to his dog's murder.

The cop is still on the job, but a lawsuit is now pending.
