Survey: More than half of corporate CEOs prefer Clinton over Trump

More than half of Fortune 500 CEOs say they would prefer Hillary Clinton to win the White House instead of Donald Trump, according to a new survey.

Fifty-eight percent of the CEOs said they would support Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination, while 42 percent would support Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, according to a survey conducted last month by Fortune and released on Wednesday.

“Big company CEOs tend to lean heavily Republican," the survey said.

"But most of the 500 operate on a global scale, and many disagree with Trump’s proposals for raising trade barriers. Some also have been rattled by his stance on immigration, or by his comments showing little understanding of public finance."

more importantly, she's predictable - while Trump is both ignorant and a loose cannon. The moneybags like predictability.

than Wall Street. There are middle class and poor people living there who have been getting screwed by Wall Street. Did she represent them, too?

10. It just shows they're not batshit crazy political junkies. They like stability, and she's stable.

It has very little to do with her liberal-leaning domestic policies, and everything to do with a pragmatic assessment of the chances of Trump destroying the country both domestically and internationally in a temper-tantrum.

Hillary is mentally stable, as well as smart and qualified. Trump is none of those things.

I know some Republicans who didn't vote for McCain because he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. That was it for them. They're not business tycoons, just a retired Sheriff and his wife, but clearly they know crazy when they see it. I can just imagine what they are thinking about the rise of Donald Trump.

Hell, one of DH's brothers is a FOX-watching conservative and he's going to vote for Hillary Clinton because he figures that when Trump is done rounding up the Muslims and Mexicans, he'll start in on the Jews. His bigoted talk just strikes way too close to the bone in our family.

because Trump's policies change by the hour. He's ignorant, racist, unqualified, unhinged, and has fascist tendencies.
