It's a pretty good series with JHC a.k.a. Jim Caviezel.

She's a recurring character for a little while, then becomes more regular. You're in for a great ride! As long as you like shows that have an overall narrative to them and don't just go into an X of the week mode. PoI seems to start out that way, but evolves into something much more.

and also my second reply, so I'm deleting that one, too. (just now read that someone up above is only up to watching the first season) I have absolutely loved watching this show and would hate to ruin that experience for anyone else.

Okay, second try at rewording...I love what has happened to The Machine! And I really really hate that they've canceled this excellent show!

Loved the characters of Carter, Shaw, and most especially Root (aka. Samantha Groves)!

Too cool that you've been watching Person of Interest! (Have you been watching current episodes? Did you see Tuesday's, the latest show?)

is a doomed endeavor

http://www.sagittarius.com/

The good news is, sagittarians are one of the luckiest signs out there. If you are a Sagattarius then you most likely never worry and won't ever need to waste your days worrying. You are a very positive person and a great listener. People love to be around your positive attitude and enjoy your positive influence on themselves. As a sagittarius you are also known for your large heart and willingness to give a helping hand to anyone that asks. The positive energy you carry is influenced from the planet jupiter (the largest planet in the solar system) and is responsible for keeping a smile constantly on your face and the people around you.

Your optimism and big ideas are always helpful in the workplace when you are given the freedom you require to express yourself. One of the strongest qualities of a sagittarian person is their imagination. This imagination fits in with the symbol of the sagittarius. The symbol is an Archer half man/ half horse which symbolizes the attempt to free it's self fro the grasp of a mythic animal.

Physically speaking, Sagittarians are the most aware of their own bodies. They are constantly going for the perfect body and the gym is often like a second home. You truly understand how to enjoy life while being healthy and physically fit. Anytime you incorporate looking great and feeling great, you are at your happiest point. Sagittarius people attract many romantic partners as everyone wants to know the secret to your constant happy moods and unlimited energy.

Yes I work out quite a bit. My fit body does not mean I'm going to go to bed with every hot chick on the block.

background checking on Shaw and her parents are refugees from Iran. I think Shaw was a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader.

Sorry to say that I had to quit watching as I am older and my hearing isn't as good as it used to be and I really had a difficult time being able to understand their whisper talk.

I usually use the Acorn networks closed caption WITH the sound on too. It helps with the British mysteries but I haven't been able to get Netflix to do the same.

It is a good show.

Some dialogue is hard for me to hear so I bought TV headphones. Flippin amazing! It also has the advantage of letting me listen to a recorded show as I putter & do chores; there is a limit on how far I can wander from the TV and the headphones will slide off if I lean too far forward.....but I found a work around. Hope this can work for you too.

36. One episode pokes fun at CBS' older demo...

Jun 2016

The latest cleverness from the writers of Person of Interest:

"Decoded the morse code... [SPOILERS]" The plot turned on the point that only
the younger person, who was being tortured and mutilated by the older
evil government agent, could hear the message containing instructions of
escape being broadcast at a frequency too high for older people to
hear. The show actually broadcast the message at the high frequency,
meaning only some of the television audience could hear it (which may
also be a joke at the expense of CBS, with its aged audience).

that there are more redeeming qualities to this character than I could tell. I admit I could only make it about 30 seconds into the provided video before the violence turned me off. And yes, I do admit to some guilty pleasures, such as loving the movie "Leon" (aka, "The Professional&quot as well as the Captain America movies. But, those are also movies, not weekly shows. A couple of hours of excessive violence every few years, instead of every seven days.

And I don't know why I'm so compelled to post this, so maybe I need the show explained to me beyond a video clip I won't watch

Person Of Interest's Creators Explain Why A.I. Could Be The New A-Bomb

Person of Interest has always skated the line between
suspenseful realism and speculative worldbuilding. But this episode's
final scenes took us far over onto the speculative end of things,
creating a parallel, authoritarian version of the United States where it
seems that our characters will be living next season. ...

52. Facebook & "The Cloud"
Sun Jun 5, 2016, 11:24 PM
Jun 2016

An overarching theme of the show is the inherent dangers of Artificial Intelligence. Another thing the show's producers are dubious of is the so-called 'Cloud'. During the dvd commentary of the season two finale they mention one of the things their research revealed. "The Cloud" as it turns out is a misnomer. There are actually huge 'data server farms' set up out in Utah and New Mexico collecting and storing data from 'the cloud'.

The producers apparently are not fond of Facebook either...

I’m sure people who work for Facebook don’t believe that they’re working for the company that will destroy the world. But, you know, they are. And everyone gets through the day rationalizing their own existence. ~ Jonathan Nolan
