'Schindler's List' Producer Claims Graduation Speech Censorship (for being conservative)

I peeked at "The Savage Nation" this afternoon and heard Michael Savage reading the story about Gerald Molen, producer of the movie Schindler's List, having a scheduled speech before a high school US government class canceled. Why? The Hollywood Reporter reports:

A high-school principal told Oscar-winner Gerald Molen he could not deliver his speech because he is a "right-wing conservative;" on Friday, a district official apologized.

Gerald Molen won a best picture Oscar for co-producing Schindler’s List with Steven Spielberg and has produced such Hollywood blockbusters as the first two Jurassic Park films and Twister. He’s a former U.S. Marine and is a sought-after motivational speaker.

So he’s not accustomed to being shunned.

Such was the case, though, when he was invited to speak to the graduating class at a Montana high school. But upon arriving, was told by the principal he would not be allowed to deliver the speech he had prepared.

The reason, he believes, is politics.

Molen is one of those rare conservatives in Hollywood (he’s even making a documentary called 2016, based on the Dinesh D’Souza book The Roots of Obama’s Rage) and because of that, he says, Ronan High School principal Tom Stack decided to disinvite him -- and he didn’t tell him so until after Molen made the 90-minute drive from his home in Bigfork, Mont.

Sadly, this kind of incident only confirms the right-wing narrative that public education is evil liberal anti-American indoctrination.

A local TV station also reports:

Stack told KPAX the incident is a miscommunication and it's not a politically-based decision. He said proper procedures were not followed when a teacher arranged for Molen to speak at the school.

"There were some concerns about what was going to be shared with our students," Stack said. "When I found out that we didn't know the topic of the presentation, we hadn't gone to the parents and asked all asked, we like to give all the parents an opportunity to opt out and decide for themselves what's presented to their students at the school."

That side of the story from the TV station Savage did not share, of course for someone with a hot ax to grind. However, if Stack really did call Molen a conservative to Molen's face, then Stack only inflamed many in his community and nationwide without proper resolution.

If anybody reads "Blinded by the Right," we'll be treated to Madmoiselle INGRAHAM crawling across barroom floors, holding pistols against the temples of ex-lovers, and declaimining on how disabled people are (expletives).

Oh, and she and Dinesh "outed" Gays across the campus, and then she and COULTERgeist and all that crowd were the "Elves" who were feeding the CLINTON *fake* impeachment, and then, Laura-the-piece-of-shit "converted" to Catholicism with some cancer involved, and yet I have always asked: What part of "spirituality" is represented in her "conversion"?!1 Oh, and she donates to The Little Sisters of the Poor, one honcho of whom told me they had never heard of one Ms INGRAHAM.

But, let's see, where do we go from her history: When she "converted" to Catholicism it was at the height of the whole conversion fad, when FBI rogues and the (now) dead NOVAKula converted and who else, lots of "intelligence" children were all "converting." All part of some Opus Dei stuff.

Oh, she used to wear a leopard spotted Daisy Duke thing.

D'Souza's college classmates nicknamed the college newspaper journalist "Distort D'Newza". And that reason becomes more and more obvious with every line he writes.
