This is a profoundly dumb man. I spent all that energy lamenting the Clinton probable-nomination because I thought he'd smack her around in the fall. I still think the Clinton camp is underestimating his appeal. But her getting her licks in against his greatest weakness and his utter inability to formulate a response has given me a little reassurance about the fall election.

But it's time we stopped being surprised that he is a racist bigoted idiot. All the pundits were like, "I can't believe he actually got my attention again with a statement so outrageous I was genuinely surprised." It's time to just report it like it is. "The racist said racist things again. The GOP nominee just threatened a judge who is trying his fraud case."
