My husband and I are here for the Spoleto Festival. Great fun if you enjoy theatre, concerts, dance, etc. The centerpiece of their
40th Anniversary this year is a production of Porgy and Bess. We saw it Wednesday night and it was fabulous.
We walk back and forth to the daytime concerts which are held in the Dock Street Theatre. We stay in a little carriage house
in the historic district (that lets us bring our rescue dog, Snowy) so we are walking through some of the most beautiful and historic parts of Charleston
on our way to and from the theatre.
That sets the stage for you. Walking back this afternoon I saw a bumper sticker--on a Lexus in a driveway--that said
Liar! Liar!
Pantsuit on Fire!
The owner was out tending her garden, near the driveway. I read the bumper sticker out loud to my husband, and then said in a nice, loud voice,
"As if Trump isn't a big, fat liar". (OK, I apologize for invoking weight, but I'm just reporting what I said--which was for effect.)
She heard me. Stood up and turned around and gave me the stink-eye.
Hehe. That was fun. I'll bet she thinks she's so cool with her derogatory, oh, so cute demeaning bumper sticker that doesn't even call out Hillary by name.
That's the trouble with Republicans, though. They have nothing positive to offer in this election--and haven't had anything positive to offer for years. And we have to keep hitting them on it.

Just going with the odds.
