Texas mom arrested over angel dust on six-year-old daughter's school lunch

AUSTIN, Texas -- A Texas mom was arrested after putting PCP in her six-year-old daughter's school lunch, with the girl telling police her sandwich made her "crazy dizzy" and tasted like "fireworks."

Tornia Ann Gutierrez is accused of putting the drug -- known as "angel dust" -- on the first-grader's lunch by accident, myFOXaustin.com reported on Friday.

Staff at Popham Elementary School noticed the girl was behaving strangely on Monday and appeared to be under the influence of drugs. The girl told the counselor that she could hear "banging in her head" and was talking to people who were not there, according to court documents.

Gutierrez, notified of her daughter's behavior by the counselor, picked her up from school and took her to a medical center, where she tested positive to PCP. Gutierrez twice tested positive herself to the drug afterwards, myFOXaustin.com said.

According to deputies, Gutierrez admitted that she allowed 33-year-old Robert Jackson to bring PCP into her home. She told investigators he was a drug dealer and a drug user.

Gutierrez has been charged with abandoning or endangering a child, a state jail felony.

How sickening.

If she was capable of drugging her child I can't imagine what other atrocious decisions she's made.

so we really don't know if she is "capable of drugging her child."

Accidental poisonings are really common. There are even some major religions based around accidental fruit poisoning.

than angel dust. I would rather consume angel dust than Ajax, Drano, or some other harsh cleaner.

Growing up, the guy who lived behind my house had a really fucked up mouth from eating some cleaning chemical when he was a kid. Seems like the girl who ate the angel dust will be OK.
