There is one, very clear way to, at least, minimize the result of crime caused by people like Oman.

Assault weapon ban!!

This is the only crazy country that sells weapon of war to people like him.

We can boycott any gun shop that sells assault weapon. We tried buy blue before. Why can't we boycott people who make money by enabling people like Oman or any other mass shooters.

Many late night show hosts spoke up about this mass shooting. Yes, they are all heart felt. However, only one host stood out in my heart. Conan was the only one who spoke up for touch gun control.

Why are we so apathetic with gun control. You know that NRA even forbid psychological research regarding gun violence and related topics. How crazy is this.

I live in Maryland. So, local Walmart cannot sell assault weapon.

I don't like allowing concealed weapon either. However, that will be the next step.

I do want to know better way to hurt gun industry, now!!

1. I think that too much money is involved. I also think that the tipping point of fear has arrived

right on schedule. There's 8 million assault rifles out there. Like orange is the new black, the AR-15 is the new shotgun. AR-15 sales have been through the roof since this tragedy. I fear that this is now a new America.

2. I agree we need sensible regulations and that it is out of control.

To stop the gun Lobby along with all of the other Lobby's is to fight for and win Publicly Funded Elections! We need to cut off the legalized bribery of our elected Representatives. As long as the gun lobby can buy votes we lose! As long as any Lobbyiests can buy votes we lose on anything and everything! That is how it has been and currently how it is, but it doesn't mean that is how it will be if we can fight for and wins PFE's!

So, it will be all up to Supreme court. After all, no matter what some people hate Hillary on DU, she is still better than Trump.

However, why are you so defeatist? One of my neighbors are originator in Maryland same sex marriage

Well, at least, we can give, for example, to 'pro life people' for trying so hard to counter planned parenthood. ( Please don't take me wrong, I am pro choice for life.)

5. Not defeatist - realist. There are millions

Of Americans who support the NRA, and like 90 million gun owners and counting, who like having guns.

Our country, via the State Dept & Secretary of State, is selling 100s of millions of dollars worth of real assault rifles (and other weapons of war) to the world, they do not need the NRA's help.

That would be something like 99%+ of them. The AR-15 is the most popular rifle in America.
