But then there's this quote from the article:

"It also showed that 55 percent of those polled said that they would never vote for Trump."

If that's even within say a 5% margin of error, Secretary Clinton will be moving into her old home.

63% of women say they'll never vote for him. I think he has right now about 25% of the women's vote. Clinton has over 60% of women. This is a demographic nightmare for Trump.

He'll lower his support of men while increasing the percentage of people who puke a little when hearing his name.

He is attractive to a voter who only looks at politics superficially. These are the single issue voters, people who are fed up with career politicians, and people who feel ignored by Washington because they aren't either rich or a corporation. They're tired of outrageous stories of people taking offense at insignificant things, stories of the government giving more of their money to corporations who don't need it, and a relative sense of poor security and leadership.

Has Washington failed? Of course it has. Simply calling Trump voters "crazy" or "racist" ignores why these people feel the way they do, and why they have been easily conned by a carnival barker who has not once laid out a concrete plan for this country. Simply put, people are desperate.

At the birth of every Fascist movement is desperation and alienation. When people see no hope in the present course, they may deviate from it in unpredictable ways. This is a dangerous time for a country. People see a continuation of the path off w cliff with Hillary. They would rather take the bait of the unknown path (which is without a doubt several thousand times worse).

Trump is not an idiot. He's playing the part of the savior: everything the current government is not. It's a tired path, but effective when a nation has reached suvh a level of hopelessness and despair that anything looks better than what we have.

They aren't the majority yet. We still have time. I don't bieve Trump will win, but what about the next "Trump?" The seed has been planted - it's up to us now to prove our worth and to stop writing off the metastasizing sickness that grows at the heart of this country.

I can have a principled argument with Gary Johnson. I would love it if Libbers supplanted the Republicans as America's right of center party. I would rather have a debate about how efficient it is to provide free lunches to poor kids instead of whether the whole program should be privatized and run by the governor's brother Neil
