One of my Facebook friends just went on a rant about "President Trump" and "innocent Muslins"

Obviously, I'm not going to link to his post and reveal his identity, but this saddens me, because he's a decent and funny guy who also has an extreme "fringe" side to his personality. It doesn't come out often, but when it does...

...anyway, I thought it was worth sharing the inner workings of a Trump supporter. He's not alone in his thoughts, and that is beyond tragic.

Ok folks! They say this is a "war"! On terror (ridiculous)! So, let's go with that. We as a country are at war. So what happens in time of war? Remember when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor? What happened to the normal, innocent Japanese citizens living in America? They were all gathered up and put into camps right here on American soil. Very sad and appalling for these innocent folks back then yes! But, this is normal wartime protocol. So bashing President Trump for him verbally at podiums expressing the same type of wartime tactic with respect to Muslims is completely warranted and appropriate being we're at war. Again, very sad for the innocent Muslins who are not radical terrorists. Hey, I didn't say we were fighting a war, the government is with the media pushing it every hour of the day. President Trump is so on the money (no pun intended)!

I don't know how two people can walk around in one body. I know the medical explanation for it, but that doesn't make it any easier.

Go ahead and un-friend me if you must. But Donald J Drumpf is a fucking joke and a disgrace...a faux-populist con-artist, modern-day- carnival-barking-provocateur whose only motivation is protecting the interests of the top 1% while APPEARING to care about the "Middle-Class"

I'm caling BULLSHIT on his whole act and hope those of you who have fallen for his reality show like campaign of Media-Manipulation will come to your senses and not make the President of The United States & Commander-in-Chief become the Reality/Comedy Show Fascist Dictator of The United States & Twitterer-in-Chief.

Personally I would unfriend and tell them why I think they are crazy. Ask him how would he feel if his type committed a terrorist act and were treated like Don the con is suggesting. Sometimes people need to be reminded to step into another persons shoes.

I know people who get drunk, high or both, and then post on Facebook. He's one of them. This accounts for about 5% of his behavior. Granted, it's a repellent 5%, but if I told him how I feel, it wouldn't sink in. He functions entirely within his own reality, but most of the time, he is gregarious and polite and many people like him. That said, he's getting responses like "I'm down with Trump, bro."

I'm not trying to judge him and say "He won't listen" before I try to speak with him, but he's like many people I knew back in that town. They have their own reality and like it there, so you go out for some fresh air while they're in that mode and come back when they're finished. You have to actually live in that town to see what makes people tick. It's a very paranoid, closed society..."Obama's gonna take my guns" all the way.

Posts like the one I shared here account for about 1 out of every 200 of what he posts.
