Cleveland finally gets another championship.
And a Democrat Nominee has never won the Presidency when a Western Conference Team wins.
LeBron is still a dick.

(42,206 posts)My Warriors fell apart these last few games. Seeing James so emotional helps the hurt - as does your statistic. Cleveland can use some good news, and Curry is still the MVP.!

(8,419 posts)Curry just got worked. As a Phx Suns fan I always like the fast game so it was fun watching the Warriors when they click.
Maybe Kevin Durant can join them for some more size.

His on court persona sucks, but so did Kobe's.

(449 posts)about people ripping on Lebron being akin to older people yelling, "Get off my yard" or those that yell at clouds... and then I saw your av. Thank you. Thank YOU. That's just so perfect.
Nothing personal. It's all just so comical to me.

After he made up with Cleveland by going back (when he really shouldn't have given the overreaction to "the decision" , this kind of criticism directed at him has become laughable.

(11,076 posts)Why did you have to smear Lebron. Is it because he's black? See how stupid the race card is? I'm sure there are hundreds of things you hate about him. None of them being his skin color. The same goes for Bernie and his supporters. Hundreds of reasons to support Bernie, none of them regarding racial prejudice! Tomorrow you can howl about and no one will be here to bring you back to reason.

(8,419 posts)As for Lebron, off the court he seems like a great person. I didn't agree with the heat he took when leaving Cleveland, wasn't his job to deliver a championship without any support. He left, went to Miami, had talent around him and one. Then decided to go back to Cleveland, they got him some help and he won again.
What I dislike about him is his style of play, not his fault, it is the fault of the NBA. They allow players to dip their shoulders and plow through people. Long history of players getting away with the same thing, some black, some white. Don't like the style. Like the Golden State style much better.
Same thing in Hockey, I like the teams that pass, move the puck, focus on skills instead of overpowering. So I like international play in both Basketball and Hockey better.
So not sure how or why the race card is being played. Danny Ainge .... DICK, most members of the good Pistons teams, DICKS, especially Bill Lambier, but not Vinnie Johnson or Joe Dumars, Larry Bird could be dickish on the court, but not Dennis Johnson. Tim Duncan and David Robinson, not dicks, their teammates Robert Horry and Bruce Bowen, DICKS!
All of them great skills and talents, just pushed the limits of the rules to the very edge, if not over the edge. So Einstein, for the same reason I voted for Bernie in the CA primary.
Calling me out for calling Lebron a dick is one thing, making it racial is something else, maybe even over the edge.

(11,076 posts)In my mind all of the racist calling out here is bull. Calling Bernie supporters racist is truly the last straw for me! The projection from the 'right left' has been overwhelming. Thanks for the response. I admit to being touchy. The game was pretty emotional and the ending really brought back my own recent time of being overwhelmed to the point of sobbing. It felt like this could be a happy moment and leave it at that. Thanks again for the explanation. Sorry to put you to the trouble.
