Jimmy Carter painting, guitar signed by Johnny Cash up for bid

3:07 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016

Now you can have an original oil painting by former President Jimmy Carter, guitars signed by the Allman Brothers and Willie Nelson and a signed limited-edition art print by Maya Angelou.

They’re among more than 150 items that will be auctioned on Saturday to benefit the Carter Center’s programs.

The public can take part in the auction by bidding online or by fax.

The Carter Center was founded in 1982 by the Carters, in partnership with Emory University, to advance peace and health worldwide.
