" White House veteran David Gergen accused Donald Trump of going beyond a political attack on Wednesday with a slanderous speech against presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

You cant ignore the truth of what he says or the lack of truth of what he says, Gergen explained. I do think in the coming days were going to hear and awful lot about a string of lies and exaggerations.
For example, the CNN contributor said that he was shocked that Trump would rely on Peter Schweizers controversial book Clinton Cash. That book has been basically discredited, Gergen noted. He has no evidence that shows money given by donors to the Clinton Foundation then resulted in actions by the State Department that favored those donors. And what Schweizer himself has said is, Well, I think theres a pattern here and we ought to investigate. Im sorry, at this level, you cant slander somebody.

(1,153 posts)The depth to which this creature lies, exagerates and defames people shows me that he is beyond being a narcissistic racist. He is a scorched earth s.o.b. who will stoop to no limits to bully and attack anyone he perceives is an enemy. He's treads on very thin ice and is willing to trod down a nazi-like path. He is a dangerous psychopathic person and not one to be trusted as commander-in-chief. He's already made the extreme right-wing feel comfortable with pushing violence and bigotry out into the open. We really need to nail the GOP politicians and pundits who areis meekly kow-towing to this disgusting man.
On the other hand, I love and appreciate the courage of Congressman John Lewis for taking the debate of reasonable gun control laws to that completely dysfunctional House of Representative. Kudos to him and the rest of the Democratic members who are joining him in the symbolic sit-down protest.
