Donald Trump in his speech today acted out one of my favorite jokes

as I listened to him it came back to me, and I wonder if you heard it as well.

A politician arrives in an African village. He is coming off the small landing strip and as he steps down from the airplane’s stairway he is welcomed by the elder and is led to a podium where he starts his speech where he promises 2 chickens in every pot and the crowd howls “Oomgowa, Oomgowa”.

Then he promises the a cart in front of every hut, and they roar “Oomgowa, Oomgowa” with ferocity, after that comes a promise of a horse in front of each cart, and the villagers wave their arms in every increasing howls of “Oomgowa, Oomgowa” while waving their arms in what seems like a salute.

At the end of his speech the politician turns to the elder, who takes his elbow to lead him away and who says to him with a twinkle in his eye: “Careful, your Lordship don’t step in the Oomgowa”.
