they were treated. Yes it's a job, but damn they have always taken their job's seriously and they should have been treated with the utmost respect after 911.

Their lives for, and built the system that provided the wealth of the rich, has been trampled beneath their feet like pearls tossed to swine who turned to rend them. This is what Randian philosphy has done to this country and made our shared humanity a joke. Too much said, very tired of them.

It would be wrong to alter it so that it looked as if the original ad said these words. This way is better.

"It would be wrong to alter it so that it looked as if the original ad said these words. This way is better."

Should be read as, "it is a good photoshop job because it would have been wrong to alter it so that it looked as if the original ad said these words. An obvious photoshop is better."

How did Photoshop or MS Paint get in here as the topic of the overall message, Duh!
The message here is that if and when your house is on Fire, no rich guy is going to show up to put it out( yes/no)
When Rich Guys get their Tax cuts- the people that are suppose to come to your aid-are not there to respond. Period.
Why? because the local government had to cut them off the payroll because the Rich guy got his tax cut, which left no money from the backs of middle class to help pay his wages.
STAY ON MESSAGE... When the Rich get more and more tax cuts, The working middle class suffer...

Particularly when it is obvious that it is (duh!), and the point of the op is to convey a message, not present evidence in court. Geez.

This one of two reasons why the left is losing the messaging war, even though we have the facts and justice on our side. We're too busy standing around in a circular firing squad. The other reason of course is money. All most of us can afford is a virtual billboard.

It should be a real billboard though. I hope some firefighters' union plasters billboards like this all over Ohio, PA and Florida.

better not have access to a strong union! I've been a volunteer fireman / first responder, I know how little appreciation they get while everyone else is snug in their beds.

construction workers become enemy number one?

The way the GOP are attacking them is like they are un-American. When did these professions become anti-America?

It because the 1%ers want total control over America so they can dictate and have a one party rule, kinda, sorta sounds like what the Nazis did.

See, they can't pick on those segments of society that they use to use as their bully pulpits(Willy Horton, anyone), so now they a demonizing the public sector (i.e., policemen's, teachers, firefighters, ect...), the professions that make up the middle class in our society. Just a thought...when are they going to start denigrating the soldiers that are fighting their wars!? (just a thought)

Stearns is the epitome of today's political buffoon: he's Republican; he's from Florida; he's a moron (but I repeat myself).

But, alas, he's just one of many.
