Are the Jesus Freaks this desperate to keep Hillary out of the White House?

And I had the impression that churches couldn't directly support politicians.

Guess I was wrong... /s

Religiosity, or at least Christian religiosity in the US, is one of the few factors that correlate very closely with being RW consistently. In other words more overtly tied to Christianity = more right wing throughout the range. Wealth skews as it increases, with both the very poor and the very very rich bending more leftward than the merely well to do. Same with education, with the middle of the pack being more right wing than either dropouts or doctorates. But church attendance and importance of religion? RW keeps going up all the way.

I guess if it had that meaning it always has to have that meaning. That's what I keep getting told here.

Are you really saying that Jesus-oriented members of the '60s counterculture are trying to keep HRC out of the White House?

(We do that kind of game with foes, and I really don't like double standards. Most recently it was assuming widespread knowledge of how a phrase was used in the 1930s; "Jesus freak" was much more recent, from the 1960s and '70s. I remember it; you'd probably have to be in your '90s to remember a rightist political slogan from the '30s.

(Personally, I can't consider most fundies or evangelicals "Jesus freaks.&quot

I use the term for fundy Christians nowadays because they freak out over the stupidest things.
