He won't slink away. He'll come up with some excuse to continue the program. Snyder is a turd. Brain-dead ideologue.

He required State workers to have drug tests and pay for them with their own money.

Turns out he owned the drug testing company. Whooda guessed?

So glad we found out there were 0 positive drug tests.

I'll sleep like a baby tonight, you know, wake up every 2 hours and cry.

These politicians need to be drug AND alcohol tested each and every time they propose, debate or vote on any legislation that affects the people of country, state, city, township, etc. that they legislate in.
With 0 (ZERO) tolerance and no slack.
You fail ONE time...
You're GONE!!!
(I wonder how many in my county would pass?) 30+ years ago more than half would have failed.
I know because I was providing or working with security for many of them at parties and other events.
From what I hear from people I know that provide security now-a-days, it hasn't changed much. Evidently they still like to party.
I live in Ohio in Boners district. Now Warren Davidson's.

They believe the poor are cursed because of their immorality. Either drugs or sleeping around or SOMETHING that God is punishing them for. There's also this assumption that there aren't REALLY any ACTUAL "poor people" out there. Not in the "richest country in the world". If they're broke it's because they're either too lazy or they're blowing all of their money on drugs and booze.

This is the kind of thinking you encounter in people who got where they are easily but who believe it was hard.

Want a low wage job? Piss in a cup. Want to get unemployment benefits? Piss in a cup. Want to become President of the United States? No piss in a cup. Want to be a hedge fund manager? No piss in a cup.

Want to play a major league sport? Piss in a cup. Want to destroy a town's water supply? Run for governor and NEVER ever worry about pissing in a cup! Want to shutdown the federal government and cause untold damage? Run for office in Texas...

It's not a random sample.

In Florida, a few people were caught, denied benefits, and the benefits denied roughly matched the cost of the program. But nobody knows if the program was a success because nobody knew how many people who knew they'd test positive didn't show up for the test. Nobody knew how many people went off drugs briefly before being tested--and if you go off drugs for a week or two, perhaps it might stick.

No control. Not random sample. Can't draw much of an inference.
