Do crowd sizes at Donald Trump's recent rallies give insight into the state of the expected Republican presidential nominee's campaign?

At Donald Trump's June 18 rally in Phoenix, about two-thirds of Veterans Memorial Coliseum was empty. The venue accommodates up to 15,000 people and Arizona Republicans were expecting about 8,000; only about 5,000 showed up.

The scorching 111-degree temperature outside no doubt depressed turnout, but Trump, now the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, has been dogged by reports that he has been playing to smaller crowds, such as at a June 10 appearance in Richmond, Va.

Precise attendance figures are not available in most instances, and Trump has proven prone to exaggerating his crowd sizes and is touchy about suggestions he didn't attract a huge legion of fans to a particular event. But some political observers wonder, a year after he launched his presidential campaign, if Trump's rally routine is growing stale.

I thought "cache's" weren't done anymore. I used to love going to them.
