Perhaps a combination of some bizarre dumb luck and money? The problem is when people keep getting away with outrageous crap, it emboldens them and they begin to think they are invincible, even qualified to run for president.

By that time the Republican Party will not help out. Of course Donald will try to work out a tax deduction for legal fees that is why he gets audited every year. My hope is he will be broke and banks will decide to cut their losses making Donald flee the country. The same goes for his kids and his trophy wives decide to collect. May his next book be "The Art of the Bust".

Perhaps years ago he had a brief email contact with this person, so the address was in his contact list.

would be enough to filter it out.
Any half-assed email shop can
micro-target on much more precise
criteria. Which makes me believe
this was on purpose or the Trump
Campaign is even more half-assed
than half-assed. Either or both
possibilities could be true.

Precisely why did he think that it was OK to get donations from legislators in another country? And if he was going to attempt it at all, why did he think that someone from the SNP of all parties would be remotely sympathetic to his views?!

He's stupider than Palin, if that's possible.
