Neo Nazis Pledge to Protect Trump Supporters at RNC

Donald Trump supporters don’t have to worry about security at the Republican National Convention this year because the Sacramento Neo Nazis that stabbed several people this weekend announced that they’ll personally protect the Trump supporters at the convention if things go South. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

Stabbed five from the anti-fascist groups.

Will knives be allowed at the convention?

If nothing else you could at least say the German soldiers in WWII were brave for fighting for their country, but these guys are nothing more than bullies and cowards. If they ever got their revolution it would last all of five minutes as the vast majority of the country, white and otherwise, turned on them. Most of these assholes would likely soil themselves at the prospect of facing actual soldiers.

Also, I won't call Trump a Nazi, but I will say that you can judge a person's ideas by the quality of the people they attract. When you start attracting Nazi and Klan scum, then you really need to take a long hard look at your life.

Neo-Nazis and Leftists Brawl in Sacramento

Trump has unleashed demons on the land, and his demagoguery thrives on this kind of violent chaos.

For months, observers have noted the violence behind Donald Trump’s message and the bigotry and xenophobia it has stirred up. As the grassroots opposition to Trump and Trumpism has grown, the call for nonviolent resistance to the politics of hate has grown as well. But a violent melee at California’s Capitol Building in Sacramento on Sunday between neo-Nazis and sectarian leftists demonstrates how difficult it may be to contain the extremist tendencies now stalking the land.

For the past month, the Ku Klux Klan, various neo-Nazi groups, and the Traditionalist Worker Party, a far-right nationalist party established last year to promote the values of “faith, family, and folk,” have been preparing for a demonstration on the steps of Sacramento’s capitol. In response, an array of ad-hoc anti-fascist and anti-racist groups announced they would blockade the capitol to prevent the Nazis from gathering.

Trump thrives in an environment such as this. He thrives in an atmosphere where one group attacks another, where chaos begets chaos begets chaos, and where power is determined by brute force rather than debate. That has always been the way of demagogues. Trump must be stopped; and so too must the miscellaneous supremacist movements that, taking advantage of this raw, ugly, moment, are now coming out from under their rocks to demonstrate and sow mayhem in one city after another. But he must be stopped through nonviolent protests. And the supremacists who feel empowered and emboldened by his candidacy must also be met, time and again, by nonviolent actions.

The Far Right’s Plans for the G.O.P. Convention

These days, Heimbach is pursuing larger provocations—the California rally, a recently established newspaper, an album of white-nationalist music. He credits the expansion in part to Donald Trump’s candidacy. “Donald Trump is not one of us, which is why we’re not officially endorsing him, but he’s introducing these ideas to the public sphere,” Heimbach said. “Donald Trump shows the Republican cowardice against their own base, but also the fact that reform is impossible within the system.”
