...using torture. It was repugnant, as were the chants of "USA, USA," that the crowd started. It boggles my mind and disgusts me that this is what people think they want.

hands of our adversaries, the "vulgar talking yam" (h/t Esquire's Charlie Pierce) won't have any problem if he or she is tortured while in captivity.

Or is torture only OK when we di it?

The use of torture has been shown time and again to be ineffective. Most professionals have made this point.

Besides, it's illegal. And immoral.

Mr. Trump should be asked a hypothetical question: If you were president and you ordered the military and/or the CIA to use "enhanced interrogation techniques," do you think you'd be able to visit your golf courses in Scotland and not be arrested for war crimes?

There's a reason that George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, et al. cannot leave the United States.

GW Bush said, "They hate us for our freedom" (which was mostly just bullshit), so it would stand to reason that "freedom" is what the terrorists would want to destroy.

After Brexit England and the rest of Europe will have a little less "freedom".
If we elect Trump, we will have significantly less "freedom".

So, following conservative logic, if we elect Trump, the terrorists win.
