An amusing visit to the Dark Side on the Right

As I've written before, I find it illuminating to read opinion pieces and columns from a few intelligent right-wing outlets. I know, I implied that some Republicans have brains. Well, actually some of them do but their policies are odious. The reason I read them is to get a sense of what the smarter Republicans have to say. It provides insight and knowing your enemy is always a good idea.

Anyway, this morning I perused The National Review, which is the granddaddy of the Conservative press. It was amusing to see who they hated more, Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. Here are the contrasting titles of some of the columns:

Trump's Defenders Are Becoming Unmoored
'Optics" of Lynch-Cinton Meeting Are Not Just Bad, They're Disqualifying
Hell, No (beneath a photo of Donald Trump)
Why Do They Hate Hillary Clinton?
Trump Makes Protectionism Great Again (a take-down of Mr. Trump's empty rhetoric on international trade)
Why Doesn't The Buck Stop With Hillary?

Anyway, you get the idea. I just love it when Republican heads are "splody-splodding," as Sarah Palin might say.

I won't violate DU's rules by including a link but, as I said, it's informative to read their perspectives.
