wealth and squandered most of it, and who owned hundreds of people, and who raped at least one of them when she was fifteen...

... it kind of dilutes its authority.

I wish I didn't think this about a guy that everyone else reveres, but I think I would have hated Jefferson.

And he was mean to my beloved Alexander Hamilton... And he stole most of his good ideas from Madison.

I've known people who could rub two nickels together and filthy rich people and the poor were often times happier. Money and things don't bring happiness.
