Do you know if there is any history with this aircraft with electrical failures or fires?

Number I saw through last Oct was over 1300 deaths and 34 crashes. Real comforting.

which would be very unlikely, the probability that it is a technical problem is very high.
I am glad it is not terrorism, however this is also worrisome. The airplane that is in question is widely used all over the world. It is incredible to even think that it would be vulnerable to such a catastrophic failure.
