(4,311 posts)I feel rather special.
It's not bullshit, by the way. Hillary is exceptionally qualified. As President Obama said, she's been smeared her whole political life because she stands up for what she believes in. You've bought into the RW lies. That's a shame.

(4,311 posts)For whatever reason, she apparently wants to retain her posting privileges. I genuinely can't understand why, but to each her own.

(4,311 posts)Why on earth anyone would want to hang around a site dedicated to electing Democrats when you hate the Democratic nominee that much is beyond my understanding, but to each their own.

(4,311 posts)He's been a wonderful president, but experience/qualifications was not his strong suit when he ran.

(4,311 posts)Hillary's got as much experience as it's possible to have while still being constitutionally eligible.

(46,804 posts)was a big concern for many people. I have to admit that I had doubts at the time. You never really know what kind of a president someone is going to become until they actually hold the job. Obama seemed to be inherently qualified for the position and I'm sure history will be extremely generous to him.

(2,097 posts)Here is a short list of the presidents who had the very best pre-presidential resumes, in chronological order:
1. Thomas Jefferson (so far, so good)
2. John Quincy Adams
3. James Buchanan
4. George H.W. Bush
Feeling inspired yet?
Meanwhile, among the least least-qualified are Abraham Lincoln, Harry S Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, and Barack Obama.
"Most qualified" is really not a great argument when it comes to the American presidency.

(974 posts)Richard Nixon; the only president to have served as a congressman, senator, and vice-president before being elected. Al Gore should have been the second (LBJ doesn't count since he wasn't elected).
Buchanan; 10 years a congressman, 10 years a senator, 4 years ambassador to Russia, 4 years as ambassador to England, 4 years secretary of state.
Martin Van Buren; senator, governor of New York, ambassador to England, Secretary of State, Vice-President.
