A white guy drives drunk, has a high speed chase and waves a gun around but lives and this is somehow a far more serious confrontation than shooting a black man selling DVDs or driving with a broken tail light?

All because he has a CCW license?

3. My god I don't believe anyone could misunderstand the point here.

The point was the guy was white not black and he also had a CCW. But they have a high speed chase for forty miles at 100 MPH.
He is waving a gun around outside the window of his vehicle and they finally stop him. They have K-9s, a swat team, an armored vehicle and a sniper and they have traffic stopped for miles he has a gun drawn pointing it around at his head and chest but unlike the black man in Minnesota that was reaching for his drivers license he wasn't harmed.

I read 'this is much worse' as if the confrontation was worse, not the outcome.

2. Put the gun buttery aside

Two observations. The suspect is white. And everything happened in daylight with many cops and more than z sold individual with a cellphone. Very different circumstances. Had the suspect been black, it could have ended differently. Had of happened at night with s less public response, it could have ended differently.

4. The point of the post was to show difference in the way the cops

handled a confrontation with a white guy that actually did violate the law numerous times and is brandishing a weapon and he comes out with out a scratch.

5. I got it, had he been black he would be dead.

He was a menace to society, but was brought in alive...meanwhile peddling CDs on a corner while black. Ends up not so good.
