Zero, that's ZERO mention in the MSM of recent presidential polls showing HRC pulling away

from the toupéed fucktrumpet.

What might explain this sudden disinterest in the polls? Hum....?

Anything to keep up the pretense of a "horserace". If they just don't mention the dawning reality of a rout, maybe it'll go away.

La, la, la, I can't HEAR you.

Do NOT misinterpret this reality check as dangerous complacency. We must fight like we're 10 points down all the way to November 8th.

What does irk me about the polls, though, is how they're portrayed by some news outlets. Even if there is none.

The mainstream media needs this to be a close race. They need the excitement that will bring in viewers and advertising dollars in their waning and dying industry. If the pundits don't have a conflict to talk about, they just don't get the eyeballs necessary for ad revenue for their top brass. So you can bet that if there are 10 polls that show the race isn't close, the media will talk about #11 that shows them neck-and-neck.

and what about the Bradley effect?

still way too close to say she's pulling away; slightly expanding her lead, perhaps (outliers in the polling results, maybe), but this still scares the hell out of me, considering the amazingly abject stupidity of a LARGE percentage of the American people.

jesus, they sort of elected dumbo TWICE! how did either of those two ignorant, spoiled, entitled psychos even get CLOSE to being nominated, let alone become candidates, one of whom had an eight year reign of terror, essentially.

never assume the media won't willfully cooperate in another massive Swiftboating like they did 12 years ago, or cover up something like the rape lawsuit (not even mentioning the fact that one was filed), just as they did the AWOL scandal that was only covered in order to quash the nascent emergence of the truth of the fiasco

something revolving around the emails/lying to congress/Clinton foundation/WJC sexcapades is still lying there, waiting to be brought up by the pugs, then having gasoline poured on it by the MSM

why do you think even the idiot spokespersons are unable to properly defend against the constant allegations that people don't trust her? just a few minutes ago I heard some simp NOT answer back to that charge with a simple declaration that the media are FOOLs for Scandal, and have been after her for over 20 YEARS! then he should have said, WHAT, exactly has ever been PROVEN that she's done wrong. this, more than anything else that's happened in this campaign, pisses me off the most. she needs to counter that bogus propaganda meme that's been promoted since before Whitewater, even.

She's not "pulling away" massively, but considering the MSM war being waged against her, nearly 6 points is NOT peanuts.

Let's pray that the great Obama coalition comes en masse to the polls to keep the talking yam in his Trump Tower and nowhere near the White House.

I remember one of the stats guys talking about it during the last election. Nate or Sam. He said there was no doubt that Obama would win because the blue line stayed pretty much on top of the red for the entire cycle.

I would love to see how those graphs compare

Thanks for the info and talking yam? At least a yam is useful. To me, he's akin to toxic waste.

They will do everything they can to make this election look close. Even the RCP poll of polls is being manipulated to make it look closer. Normally they take the last 10 polls, for some reason they are only taking the last 8 the last few days, and that bumped a Hillary by 11 and Hillary by 9 from the average. So RCP says Hilalry by 4.5 right now when it really is her by 5.6.

do you think that poor kid will turn out as rotten as his daddy? the look on his face is not showing pleasure at all the opulence with which he's surrounded

but geeezzz, what taste!

did you see this movie: the queen of Versailles, about the woman who had a hundred million dollar chateau built in Fla, IIRC?

here's the ballroom, digital rendering. the house isn't done yet; production halted when the Very sleazy time share king-owner ran into money troubles. it's due to be finished this year, with a price tag right around a hundred mill.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder expressed through a deranged fascination with "stuff".

Louis XIV is turning in his tomb.

The original is over the top, granted, but it WAS the home for the whole royal court, plus retinue, plus retainers.

It was, in effect, one great big reception hall for all of Europe.

Thanks for sharing that, Gabi. First time I've ever heard of it.

Goodness for Social Media and the Net!

Polls show Clinton expanding her lead over Trump

Clinton now leads Trump by double digits — 51% to 39% — in the new Washington Post-ABC News poll, a survey that had the race statistically tied last month.

In the weeks since, Trump has drawn criticism over his comments about a judge's "Mexican heritage" and his reaction to the Orlando terrorist attack
