I readily admit I have no clue as to where she stands relative to the other Conservatives and to the positions held by Cameron.

When is the next general election in Great Britain? Do you think the leader of the Labour Party will be forced to resign or will he hold out? I have to say I did not find him very impressive when the media focused on him after the Brexit debacle.

She might try, because Labour are in utter turmoil at the moment, and she might want to take advantage of it. If Labour ever get out of their turmoil, the Tories have fucked things up so badly that they could be beaten hollow by a block of wood; but perhaps not by a circular firing squad. Corbyn's not the most impressive leader imaginable, but neither is anyone else in the party right now.

8. Is there no one in the Labour Party who could lead/unite the party if Corbyn leaves?

In Canada, the Liberal Party was in the doldrums partly because they had no real leadership once Jean Chretien left, no one the party stalwarts could unite behind until Justin Trudeau entered the fray so I'm wondering if that is what is happening to the Labour Party as well right now?

they changed to a fixed election date. Still how do you have Parliamentary Supremacy and a fixed election date?

even assuming every other party voted unanimously for it.

(Though since turkeys do seem to be voting for Christmas these days, Labour might even vote for a snap General Election.)

Ironic that we need 2/3 of Parliament for an election, but can leave the EU on a 52% vote.

Never thought there'd come a day when I'd be longing to have John Major back again!!!

I remember him but given he was Conservative and served under Thatcher I didn't pay him much attention. I just googled him to refresh my memory and I see he supported the 'remain' side in the Brexit question so I have to give him points for that but, damn, serving under Thatcher kind of removes those same points, lol.

Not the PM job, but the ability to get a moving service committed to a city center pack and load on 48 hrs notice. I think we can presume Cameron isn't loading his stuff into the back of the Rolls himself...
