Outwardly, Pence brings some stability to the duo. He'd anchor the wacky ass hat at the top of the ticket.

But with Gingrich things can go flying off the rails very nicely. He brings so much baggage with him that even I might watch the ads against them. Like you point out - it's rock bottom or pretty darned close.

I was speaking to the lead counsel for the impeachment inquiry...a really bad lawyer; terrible speaker, shabby, unkempt. looked a lot like Hastert.

I told them I couldn't WAIT to see the dems' turn to question prosecution witnesses, like Gingrich, Livingston, and the other adulterers. forget what his reply was, but I asked him if his own girlfriend (he was known to be fooling around on his own wife) was sitting in the hearing room behind him.
