What views in particular does Hillary share with that loony anti-immigration conservative bigot? I mean, I'm not a Clinton fan at-all but that strikes me as borderline slanderous.

(13,598 posts)I suspect that in absolute terms (as opposed to positions on their relative political spectrums) they're not that dissimilar - for example, Clinton wants to extend the role of the state in provision of health care, while I suspect that May wants to reduce it, but they may well be converging to the same point from opposite directions.

(53,866 posts)more governmental help to people whereas another is trying to restrict it. their starting points differ hence where they arrive might be the same place, but their philosophical differences are large.
They also differ significantly on Brexit and immigration overall.
