it is gonna be Pence ...... mark it down

when msnbc and LOD (Lawrence O'Donnell) were on break I watched
3 minutes of Eric Trump* and Hannity and E.T. talked about how great
the meeting of team trump went w/Pence in Indiana.

Go for it Don! We have @ least 8-20% of America who is LGBT and Pence
is the devil to them and God knows how many friends of LGBT who think
he is an asshole too.

* He is really bad in front of the cameras too.

I don't know anything about him beyond the template that any Repuke is horrible. Just that he, CHRISTIE, & GRINCH are willing/desperate to take the torture and humiliation of pairing up with DRUMPF says it all.

and he looks like he came from Central Casting for an honest to goodness serious American politician, I felt a bit uncomfortable.

On the whole, Trump supporters and Republicans in general accept things at face value and will believe what they are told to believe - he is the only one on the 'short list' that looks like he has gravitas and comes across as a 'statesman'. He reminds me of Cheney in that he 'appears' to be a heavyweight to folks who don't know any better.

I'd much rather it be Gingrich or even Christie (to a much lesser degree), as I don't want people to think that anyone associated with Trump is anything but a clown.

Pence is from the midwest and can help there or at least that's the thinking. The other two just have too many scandals and trump has enough of his own.

But Newt's "staff" issues (and oh, that term is fraught with innuendo!) are absolutely legendary!!

His very own staff became an issue when a member of his Speaker's staff, a relatively junior staffer, became imbued with far more staff authority than someone of her paygrade deserved!! LOL!! His own Chief of Staff was mightily annoyed, and the rest of his staff was pissed off that a junior staffer was possessed of so much influence with "the Speeeekah."

The story is--and I believe it--that members of his staff tipped off Wife Number 2 to the shenanigans (and after-hours staff work) with Calista!

NB: Excessive use of the "S" word is deliberate--LOL!

Which will negate any lack of hate for the LGBT Trump has tainting him with GOP voters.

Basically, he completes the hate ticket.

Socially looney. I'm sure advisors have told him Pence brings nothing to the table. Of course Trump thinks he is smarter than everyone else and that is why he is dumb enough to do it!

I can't think of a single republican who has any business being vice president, not to mention president.

Clowns, the lot of them.

outshine the boss!

And, as you said, Trump thinks he's the smartest guy in the room, and he can't have anyone taking the spotlight off him!

He brings it to the table like a good waiter--subservient, never too loud, never too intrusive!

Trump is so insecure that he can't have anyone be "better" than him in any way. If he picked a foreign policy whiz, he'd be forced to defer to the guy and he can't do that. I don't think it's in his DNA.

Pence does look like he is in the sweet spot--a very short period of time will tell if he's The One. His "plus" is that he leans so far right on the Moral Majority scale that Trump thinks he'll help to empty the fundy churches as the faithful stampede to vote for Orangeboy on election day. Of course, Trump doesn't have to cede anything to him on the religious front--he and his Two Corinthians have that all sewn up!

I doubt he is capable of any more in depth analysis than that..
