vote for Trump. I'm good with qualified and competent.

And I want Warren right where she is, in the Senate harassing Republicans.

Does not deserve your words. He isn't a token as you describe him to be.

But your first comment was simplistic to the point of actually being false and cheap. You might want to read about who you simply define as a token. That is exactly what your first reply did.

i'm a very cynical democrat and I think we still have a long way to go on changing the direction of our economic policy and foreign policy agendas

Thanks for sharing that extra bit. I do think(know) identity politics does play a role. I agree with you there. Just don't like seeing it used as an absolute when discussing qualified people who more often than not are fighting for us.

The answer to the question which of the targeted demographic needs to be shored up is going to influence the VP choice.

It isn't women, that's dealt with by HRC herself. And because of the lack of any need to shore-up black support, it's quite unlikely to be an African American. That sort of moves interest toward the rest of a much shortened list.

So I would enjoy seeing Warren cut him off at his dimpled knee caps.

Edited to spell Christie correctly.... Lol, I do that every time, ever since one of our own called him Chrispy Creme.

She is a wonderful Senator. Why? Oh why would anybody want to take her out of that position?

It's madness. Madness!

The king of the clown car should be portrayed as such, and nothing more than that.

But Warren is a great senator. She needs to remain where she is.

In fact, I am staunchly against any sitting senator for Democratic VEEP.

Especially Warren, whose predecessor in the senate was a Republican, and whose state has a Republican governor. I cannot trust that she wouldn't be replaced by a Republican. So, please not Warren.

picking an actual progressive for the sake of image is going to help. It's not like the VP is going to be directing policy. The only benefit to having a progressive VP I can see is if, for any reason, the sitting president is unable to continue in office. I may not be a fan of Clinton, but I sure as hell don't wish that kind of disaster upon her.

I'd rather leave Warren, Brown, and other strong progressives in Congress, where they can do the most good.
