(8,000 posts)He follows the old Republican line step by step, and is big on anti-abortion/right to life, anti-gay, etc. Bad enough his fiscal conservatism (the type that spends heavily on military and nothing on safety net spending), but far, far right social conservative. Pro 1% too.

He also speaks relatively softly and can sound so warm and fuzzy. He also speaks with the republican "certitude" that everything he says is direct from Gawd.
